Captain Botta used his time as a Captain and as an FAA designated line check airman for a Major Airline to evaluate, train and instruct student airline and upgrading pilots. In addition, during his 9 years as a Corporate Jet Captain, Professional Standards Committee Chairman and 10 years as a former Licensed Professional Counselor in St. Louis, MO he used that experience and the same psychological and emotional principles he used in private practice as a Counselor to determine behavioral issues that lead to “cause and effect” in the aviation accident/incident environment.

My experience and background encompasses over thirty two years of practical and professional aviation related experience ranging from mechanic to president. I possess a valid A&P License with a clean FAA record. My most recent airline experience was as the Manager of Outside Airframe Services for a 121 Charter Airline overseeing the heavy maintenance of a fleet of twelve (12) Boeing B727-200 aircraft. I was responsible for the overall planning, budget and program performance for all aircraft maintenance done at outside vendors (such as “C” checks).
I now perform pre/post purchase inspections, records reviews, repossessions, and maintenance bridging on transport category aircraft for aircraft operators and leasing companies as a consultant. I am adept at contract negotiations and interpretation. I have prepared bids and estimates for labor hours required for aircraft induction and letter checks. I often act as a technical representative, and track aircraft through maintenance utilizing computers and specialized software. At Aerotest and Hawaiian Airlines, I instituted a production control system for labor hour tracking and materials budgeting considerations and managed the overall maintenance planning efforts that applied to each company’s unique needs. I have also trained others in the use of computer software, as well as set up systems and recommend software to clients in need of tracking software for their own unique business needs.
My company, Jet Research, which I founded in 1996, has over 650 verifiable aircraft projects to its credit and I manage a $5M budget annually and employ over 30 people in several different countries.

Mrs. Bogart is a former United States Army Warrant Officer and Aviator flying the Blackhawk during medical evacuation missions. She is a decorated Operation Iraqi Freedom combat veteran who has received two Air Medals and a Sikorsky Rescue Award.
Mrs. Bogart has extensive experience across aviation operations, including aviation safety, flight training, maintenance test flights, helicopter air ambulance, and aviation law enforcement. Mrs. Bogart holds many credentials, including Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rotorcraft, FAA Certified Flight Instructor including Instrument Instructor (CFI/CFII), and Certified International Safety Manager (CISM®), to name a few. Mrs. Bogart has tremendous experience consulting helicopter air ambulance, law enforcement, and agricultural operators utilizing aviation assets.
Mrs. Bogart is an Aviation Doctoral (AvD) student at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). She graduated summa cum laude from the FIT with a Masters in Aviation Safety with an emphasis on Safety Management Systems. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics with a minor in Helicopter Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
